Yoga
Energetic Flow
This energetically paced class offers a fun, invigorating, yet challenging physical practice. The class will be sequenced differently each week and is designed to release tension, increase flexibility, mobility, strength, and regulate the subtle energy bodies. Through the breath synchronized movement of a Vinyasa Flow style class, we incorporate yoga’s ethical precepts, explore sun salute variations, standing pose sequence, backbends, forward bends, inversions, somatic movement, rest, meditation, breathing practices, and mantra.
This class is best suited to those with some prior yoga experience and familiarity with foundational pose names. Pose options are offered to support any practice. Appropriate for the yoga dabbler to the established practitioner!
*Sequences can be adapted to chair or wall. Contact Clarissa with questions or with special considerations for your practice.
Gentle Vinyasa Flow
Gentle Vinyasa Flow is a moderately paced class that allows for growth and variations as your personal practice progresses making the class accessible to most abilities and all stages of yoga experience. Participants can expect to gain familiarity with, and learn basic principles of alignment in, common Yoga poses. Options for pose expression are offered and demonstrated in each class creating greater accessibility and allowing for a diversity of body shapes and abilities.  Practitioners explore mindfulness practices and meditation for stress reduction, along with Yogic philosophy. No prior Yoga experience necessary. Appropriate for the Absolute Beginner to the Absolutely Legendary! 
Reset and Restore Yoga (CLASS RETURNS IN AUGUST!!)
Reset your body and mind with a vinyasa flow that gets the week ahead started off on the right foot! Focusing on connecting breath with movement, this class offers a mix of strength and stretch within each flow. No previous yoga experience required. Class is open to everyone and appropriate for all levels of yoga experience!
Sunset Yoga
We delve into the myriad benefits of yoga practice through basic pranayama (breathing practices); yoga sequences emphasizing alignment, breathing, and conscious movement; and reflection on yoga philosophy as it applies in our practice and in our daily lives. We strive to make each class a well-rounded session that leaves every participant feeling relaxed, renewed, and well-nourished in body, mind, and spirit. Moderate intensity; some knowledge of yoga helpful but not required. 
Meditative Movement 
Beginning Tai Chi
Tai Chi is slow, continuous movement that improves strength, flexibility, and balance, and can help reduce stress. It has roots in Chinese healing and is widely recognized for its health and wellness benefits. Beginning Tai Chi is designed to acquaint the student with Tai Chi practice and foundational movements providing and introduction to Sun and Yang style Tai Chi. Although Beginning Tai Chi will prepare students to learn more complex Tai Chi forms, participants can also opt to continue practice at this level indefinitely.
 No previous experience is required.
 Tai Chi: Experienced Students
Tai Chi is an ancient practice based on slow continuous movement. It is widely recognized for its health and wellness benefits but can also be meditative when practiced in its more advanced forms. This class will focus on advanced forms of Tai Chi. It is for students who already know Tai Chi for Arthritis or have previous experience with Tai Chi.
