What is a Crystal Session?
A Crystal Session is a restful, fully clothed, minimal-contact experience that uses intuitively selected crystals and stones placed on or around the body to help support energetic alignment and subtle body awareness. This practice works primarily with the body's major energy centers and subtle energy field - helping to resolve or neutralize emotional and energetic disturbances while offering grounding, clarity, and a potential for spiritual growth. While a standalone Crystal Session offers a deeply meditative experience on its own, crystals are also a powerful complement to Reiki. When used together, the crystalline grid is thought to amplify and direct the flow of Reiki energy, helping to deepen relaxation, harmonize the energetic body, and enhance the overall impact of the session. Many clients choose to incorporate crystals into their Reiki sessions for a more layered and multidimensional energetic reset — especially during seasonal shifts or times of personal transition. |
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese method of energy work intended to support the body’s natural capacity for balance and well-being. During a session, the practitioner gently places hands either lightly on or just above the body to encourage the flow of universal life energy—known in various traditions as ki, chi, or prana. This subtle, non-invasive practice is often experienced as deeply calming, helping to ease tension and invite a greater sense of peace. Reiki is considered part of a broader category known as energy or biofield modalities, which focus on restoring energetic coherence and alignment. Clarissa’s sessions may also include complementary approaches such as crystals and stones, mantra, breathwork, and the soothing tones of singing bowls or gong to further support stillness, presence, and integration. Clients often describe feeling lighter, more centered, or deeply relaxed after a session. Some notice shifts in energy, emotion, or physical sensations as their system integrates the work. While each experience is unique, it’s recommended to rest, stay hydrated, and allow space for reflection following a session. Regular sessions can support ongoing energetic hygiene and inner balance, and many find them especially beneficial at the turning of the seasons, when the body and spirit are naturally undergoing transition. How do I book my appointment?
All sessions are offered at Painted Lotus Yoga & Wellness by appointment. Sessions are scheduled around studio availability. Please email Clarissa at [email protected] to schedule your session. When scheduling an Enhanced Energy Session, please indicate which layout you would like to receive from the options listed above or share your request for a customized layout. 60-75 minute foundational session = $70 60-90 minute enhanced energy session = $120 (includes cost of any take-home items) |
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy. To alleviate any stress or hesitation you may have about an upcoming appointment, I have an extremely lenient cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule for whatever reason, and especially if you are not feeling well, I understand and urge you to contact me as soon as possible to do so. There are no penalties for cancellation at any time up to the time of your appointment as long as you let me know by phone call, text, or email. If you do not inform me of your cancellation (a “no-show”) or contact me after your appointment time, you will be charged the full appointment fee. Sessions are transferrable up to six months from date of purchase but are non-refundable. |

FOUNDATIONAL ENERGY SESSION: $70
A 60–75 minute Reiki-based session designed to support deep relaxation, energetic recalibration, and inner reflection. While you rest comfortably, fully clothed, gentle hands-on or off-body techniques are used to encourage a shift toward energetic balance. Crystals are intuitively selected and placed to enhance the flow of energy, supporting the subtle body in its natural harmonizing processes.
Clarissa weaves in mindfulness, meditation, sound, mantra, breath awareness, and Western esoteric methods when appropriate—offering space for restoration, insight, and personal transformation.

These 90 minute sessions build on the Foundational Energetic Session with the addition of a custom crystal array aligned with your specific intention. These layouts bring additional energetic dimension to your session, deepening the potential for insight, integration, and transformation while providing a more personalized energetic immersion
You’ll receive a take-home item—such as a stone set, bath blend, or herbal tea—to continue your integration and practice.

Abundance + Manifestation Layout
This Reiki and crystal session includes a full chakra recalibration followed by a focused crystal layout designed to amplify your innate capacity for manifestation. Special attention is given to the lower three energy centers to help fortify your foundation, enhance creativity, and cultivate courage. You’ll receive the stones used in your layout to continue the work at home.
Protection + Grounding Layout
Designed to deepen your connection with the Earth’s electromagnetic field and support energetic balance, this Reiki and crystal session is especially powerful during the new moon. After recalibrating the chakras, we move into a grounding layout. If desired, we can include a guided meditation for deeper connection. You’ll go home with either a grounding stone set and affirmations or a grounding/protection pouch for your vehicle.
Relaxation Layout
Ideal during times of stress or overstimulation, this session includes a chakra recalibration followed by a gentle crystal layout to soothe the nervous system and invite restorative calm. You’ll receive a handmade Dream Sachet or custom Relaxation Tea Blend to support continued ease at home.

This will depend entirely upon your particular situation and current needs. For general relaxation and maintenance, I suggest a session as often as once a month or as infrequently as once every three months (at the change of seasons).
