Yoga
Energetic Flow Yoga (all levels of experience)
Join us for a playfully energetic yoga practice! Energetic Flow offers a great way to release tension and recalibrate your nervous system as you transition into your evening activities. This class is a fusion of the traditional set sequences and longer holds of the Ashtanga yoga lineage and a moderate intensity, energetically paced vinyasa flow practice.
Expect to move from floor to standing with some poses being practiced on hands and knees, seated, or reclined. All poses can be adapted to support your specific practice with a variety of pose options offered throughout the class. Breathing practices, mantra (vocal toning), mindfulness, and yogic philosophy are woven into the fabric of each class. Appropriate for the yoga dabbler to the established practitioner!

Gentle Flow Yoga
Gentle Flow Yoga classes offer pose sequences at a leisurely pace while allowing for growth and variation as your personal practice progresses. You can expect to become familiar with commonly practiced yoga poses while exploring the most supportive alignment in each posture for your specific needs. A variety of options for pose expression are offered and demonstrated in each class. Expect to move from floor to standing, with some poses practiced on hands and knees, seated or lying down. Breathing practices, mindfulness, and vocal toning (mantra) are practiced throughout. We finish in relaxation allowing your body to recover while your mind rests.
This class is great for:
* folks brand new or returning to a yoga practice
* experienced students who enjoy longer holds and more alignment cues

Beginning Tai Chi
Tai Chi is slow continuous movement that improves strength, flexibility, and balance, and can help reduce stress. It has roots in Chinese healing and is widely recognized for its health and wellness benefits. Beginning Tai Chi is designed to acquaint individuals with Tai Chi practice and foundational movements. Although Beginning Tai Chi will prepare participants for more advanced Tai Chi forms, they can opt to continue practicing at this level indefinitely.
No previous experience is required.

Intermediate Tai Chi is for individuals who are familiar with Tai Chi practice and foundational movements and have experience with Tai Chi for Arthritis and/or Yang 24 Forms.
Tai Chi is slow continuous movement that improves strength, flexibility, and balance, and can help reduce stress. It has roots in Chinese healing and is widely recognized for its health and wellness benefits. Intermediate Tai Chi is for individuals who are familiar with Tai Chi practice and foundational movements and have experience with Tai Chi for Arthritis and/or Yang 24 Forms.
Advanced Tai Chi
Tai Chi is slow continuous movement that improves strength, flexibility, and balance, and can help reduce stress. It has roots in Chinese healing and is widely recognized for its health and wellness benefits. Advanced Tai Chi is for individuals who practice Tai Chi regularly, know beginning Sun and Yang style forms, and are prepared to embrace more advanced Tai Chi practice.
Tai Chi is slow continuous movement that improves strength, flexibility, and balance, and can help reduce stress. It has roots in Chinese healing and is widely recognized for its health and wellness benefits. Advanced Tai Chi is for individuals who practice Tai Chi regularly, know beginning Sun and Yang style forms, and are prepared to embrace more advanced Tai Chi practice.
Fundamentals of Tai Chi & Qigong (all levels of experience)
Qigong is an ancient limb of Chinese medicine long recognized for its health and wellness benefits. Tai Chi is a form of Qigong and can be practiced independently or in concert with Qigong. These practices are based on slow, continuous movement, known as forms, that calm the mind, nourish the body, and help us navigate life's challenges. This class introduces commonly practiced forms and explores the philosophical foundation of harmony and balance through movement. This class is appropriate for all levels of experience.
